Conventions

 

Only in the last few years have I been attending science fiction conventions. I try to take a roll or two if pictures at each. Many of the pictures are taken during the Masquerade costume shows or of people running around in "hall costumes." Not only are the official presentations a good reason for going but there are parties and other gatherings that often continue into the late night.

Although I try to get permission from everyone that I take pictures of sometimes I might miss one or two. If anyone sees a picture of themselves or someone they know that they would not want their picture up then please contact me and I will remove it. Confluence

Here in Pittsburgh we have our own convention (some like to consider it a more casual conference. This is a fish-eye lens shot of the dealers room where many unusual artifacts can be found. (Enlarge.)

Monster Bash

Monster Bash is another Pittsburgh regior convention that celebrates the classic monster movies. (Enlarge.)

Pittsburgh Comicon

Ack! Stormtroopers on patrol. I apparently alarmed them when I took their picture. Anyway, this is yet another Pittsburgh convention. (Enlarge)

PhilCon
