Rhino 3D

This is just a temporary page to demonstrate my new 3D graphics software toys (Rhinoceros) and its photo-realistic renderer (Flamingo). This software started out as a plug-in for AutoCAD but now is its own program. It uses specialized mathematics called NURBS (Non-Uniform Rational B-Splines) to describe the geometry of 3D models. This technique is especially suited for smooth curved objects.

Here is an example

This is a flat shade render to show the objects' geometry.

This is a photo realistic render using Flamingo on the same objects.

CryoPod idea.

Some more "practice" objects created in Rhino
and some rendered with surface "iso-curves" to show their structure.

And not to forget some Flamingo renderer lighting and material tests.
